~OPPOSITES ATTRACT~
Kids are so full of energy that I wish sometime I could bottle it, It would be a never ending supply! This is an example of that energy. The condo that we stayed at did not have an over abundance of toys , but did that matter to the kids? NOPE!!! they never had any problem finding something to do. Either it was coloring or playing UNO , Legos or just horsing around( which I think was their favorite) One morning as we were cleaning up from breakfast, the kids all got their pillows and made a slide out of the stairs. I remember doing that , it was one of my favorite things to do in a house with stairs when I was young! I am glad to see the kids enjoying the simple things in life!


Amazingly enough All the kids ( except little Kit) fit on the couch in the living room. We had to get a picture. Six little peas in a pod :O) This was on the first night. Half way through it though we figured out that Chelsea needed to sleep in a different spot. Kyah is too long and she kept kicking chelsea. All in all though I was very proud that when it came to bed time the kids settled down and fell asleep quickly.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. She is a ton of fun, You can always count on Kyah for a good laugh! 8. She is my oldest child. That alone is AWESOME !!! I am so grateful that I have her as my daughter! 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
