Aaron's birthday is on Thanksgiving this year, so we wanted to celebrate it a little early. To kind of differentiate between the two. So Aaron picked the restarant, Sizzler, ( because we don't have an Outback Steakhouse) and Then he thought it would be nice to go to a movie... and what movie just came out? YEP he took me to TWILIGHT!!!! I was so excited.







We went and ate dinner at 5:00 so that we would have enough time to not be rushed before the movie started at 7:00 . Our good friends Katie, Joel , andMelissa( Kyle had class so he got out and went and waited in line for us... Thanks Kyle) came with us to dinner. Katie and Joel didn't join us for the movie ( :( ) They couldn't get tickets. And like the genius I am I forgot my camera so I don't even have a cool picture of Katie Joel and us to add to my blog... Please forgive me katie :O) I still love you. We will take one so that I can add it!!!







Well after dinner we headed over to the theater . I was a good thing that Kyle Went early because as it was we were waiting outside for like 30 minutes. But good things come to those who wait! I really enjoyed the movie. It deviates from the book just like any movie does but, all in all it was AWESOME!!! I am going to see it for Girls night out tonight and Kyah asked me this morning if I would check for things that are not o.k. for her to see because She wants to go too. ( we will see about that one... I think she is still a little too young ) I love that she wants to do things that I love. It is a special bond between a mother and a child when that happens. Alll you mom's out there know what I'm talking about.

I'll answer Katie first - He's holding a fork from the Sizzler. :) Now for Crystal - all I have to say is that I have a movie crush on Edward. Oh yeah - and Kyle and Aaron really liked the movie, I'm pretty sure. :)

Yay for twilight! Except I saw an interview with robert pattinson on jay Leno and he's pretty much a scrub with no personal hygiene. But don't let that ruin your fantasy!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
