Charles birthday


Charles turned seven on April 11th. I am truly blessed with such a wonderful boy. In keeping with a new tradition I would like to list 7 things that I love about my son.

1. He is always trying new things, when it comes to adventure he is all boy. He will try just about anything once( as long as its not food, that is where he draws the line of being adventurous ;O )

2. When ever Aaron is outside working n his boat or in the garage , Charles rushes out to go be like DAD. I love it! he loves to spend time with Aaron no matter what the activity or chore may be. Its great bonding time for Aaron and him.

3.Charles loves to read. I think it is an ingrained gene. Both Aaron and I are avid readers and so it was bond to come out in our children.

4.Charles is better at most video games than I am... What a thing to have to admit about your 7 year old son huh?! When he comes home from school he does his homework right away and then the minute that he is done he give me the "puppy dog eyes" and say. " Mom, can I please play the Wii " Its so cute .

5.When it come to church Charles so excited . He love to go and learn about Jesus and the gospel principles. He has a million questions from the time sacrament starts until the time when Primary ends. Its wonderful, his appetite for truth is insatiable .

6.Charles is without a doubt one of the most caring children I have ever known (And I am not just saying that because he is my son ) He is very concerned with everyone. If they are hurt or sad he want to know how he can help. Great candidate for a leader!!!

7. Last but CERTAINLY never least... Charles love his family with all of his little heart! There has never been any doubt in my mind ! Wether it is making sure that erveyone gets their fair share or that everyone has a good time. It is wonderful!!!

Murder Mystery in the Manor

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
