a Fall Sticker puppet Frenzy :)



For a Family night activity During November We made Puppets... Scarecrows, Turkeys and Owls. Aaron never really has been one for the crafty things in life :) so Emily played with the kids and I.

 The nice thing about the puppets that we made, they were pre-cut and made so that all we have to do is put them together. It was a lot of fun. I think that I have laughed that hard in a long time. Each of us made one of each of the shapes, and there was still enough left over to goive to a friend for her family to make cute little Thanksgiving puppets.
    I think the best part about the family time and FHE nights is that we get to talk and laugh as a family. The kids tell me about their lives and I hear about the things in school that they are loving and struggling with. The prophet sure knew what he was talking about when he said the FHE and family time was of most importance. I love the time that I spend with my family.

And Check out our awesome Popsicle puppets. we made them and put them up all over for Fall and Thanksgiving. I really enjoy spending time with Kyah Charles and Chelsea. We laughed a TON that night and got to play with stickers to boot.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
