On November 29th Aaron was hired on as a Customer and sales rep for Qwest communications. He like the job okay, but it definitely has its perks. One night they rented out the entire Ice skating arena here in Logan for just the employees and their families. We got to go and skate for free. The kids had so much fun, the next day they had blisters on thier feet from skating so much. Each of them found fun friends to pall around with while we were there. My kids are so much like me its not funny. I am grateful that they are able to make friends easily!
Kyah and her friend... I am horrible and don't remember any of their friends names, oops
Aaron and I being totally silly
Emily and Ira holding each other up, Ira took to the ice with ease,at first he wasn't even going to put skates on
Charles sporting a smile for me. He was convinced that he was going to get a concussion so he insisted on having that helmet, I was not being over protective and insisting that he wear it just in case you were wondering.
Chelsea with her friend
Emily and I , I did the picture. I am getting pretty good at this... well most of the time anyways :)
Aaron and Ira had so much fun. They were on the ice as long as the kids were. only getting off when the Zamboni came out to resurface the ice that everyone was cutting up :)
Charles and his walker( as I called them) thingy that helped him not fall on the ice as he got used to his ice skates
Emily and her walker
And of course no ice skating Blog would be complete without showing you the Zamboni :)
I am grateful that Aaron has a job again. And so far he for the most part doesn't mind it that much. It is something that he has never done. He has always worked for food retail or production so this is new territory for him. Wish him luck.
