Happy Birthday Kyah!
I can't believe that my little girl is 10!!! Time is flying so FAST. Kyah was so easy going about her birthday this year. she wanted to eat at texas roadhouse and then have cake and ice cream at home. She got some really cool presents from all of us that love her, I am looking forward to seeing her grow and mature this year. I remember when I was ten I was babysitting and now that Kyah is ten I think that it is crazy that i was babysitting when I was ten. :)
All of the kids wanted pillow pets for Christmas but I couldn't fathom paying 20.00 for a animal shaped pillow , but for Kyah's birthday I found a good deal so what can I say...
Every year Aaron calls the kids names into the radio Station, Kyah's name was drawn out and for it she gets some really cool things, like a free cake from the local bakery and a toy from the local hallmark store. Its really fun for them to get to do these fun things for their special day. This is the free cake that Kyah won, it describes her in a nutshell.

I have never seen Despicable me, but as a family Aaron Charles, Chelsea and I got it for Kyah on Bluray. She was screaming because she was so excited.
And this is the real reason that Kyah wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse :) to sit on the saddle... what a ham she is

And here is the girls table. I think by the end of the night Sequoia was ready to strangle a few of the younger ones... got to love being the oldest

Chelsea and Sierra shelling peanuts and then not eating them. We had to take the bucket away so they would stop just shelling them,

WE had a horrible beginning to our night because I had done call ahead seating and when we arrived the hostess told me that it would be about 10 minutes but after a half hour I went back and asked if we were going to be seated , they said that they had given the check to the people before us but they were just hanging out and not leaving, So I asked if there was another place that we could sit, and after another 10 minutes we were sat at 3 different tables. It was ridiculous. WE had a manager come over and apologize but it just made me miffed. Then we were juggled between 2 separate servers. What a night. But Kyah enjoyed herself so that is what mattered.
I am excited to see what this new year brings with my oldest. she surprises me everyday. I love you Kyah and am ever grateful for your kindness.
