FUN AND GAMES
On Saturday night we go to go and play with our good friends The Blanches. I haven't gotten to see Jeneil very much since the arrival of McKenna... ( their cute little bundle) So this was a time to reconnect and hang out. We had Halibut (which I have decided is WAY better than Tilapia-but also more expensive) and taught them to play Killer Bunnies. Which for some reason has replaced settlers in Aaron's world ( from one expensive game to the next. I think that we don't need to learn anymore costly games , Aaron gets addicted to easily.) The kids really enjoyed themselves out there too. Taylor ( jeneil's oldest) loved playing with the kids. They went in and out so many times to the yard that I lost count. Not to mention the disaster that my children created in Taylor's bedroom. ( but in the end they all helped clean it up and all was well)
Chelsea has turned into quite the photagrapher. She is obsessed with my camera and everytime I pull it out she has to take a picture. I think that this one turned out rather well, don't you?! We had a grand time and it was nice to just hang out and be!
I amalways amazed that my kids can be so well behaved when we are out and in public that it makes me wish that our home were more public sometimes. (SOMETIMES, VERY RARELY SO THOUGH) I was very impressed with Kyah though. She played with Taylor and did whatever silly games that were invented or made up and she just did awesome. She is gonna make an AWESOME babysitter oneday :)

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
