LAKE TAHOE
Yestarday I got to go to Tahoe. It was a blast! I drove up with Annie my sister( in -law) with the kids and her brother Henry. We set up on Sand Harbor beach . Amazingly enough we got there before the beach rushand were able to get down by the water. Michelle my sister ( in-law) came up just after we did and she brought a wonderful screened tent! I love modern inventions. Notice my new Swimsuit? Yeah its aweaome... My Mom( Aarons mom) made it for me. Isn't that awesome.
Charles is true to his personality and made a fun friend for the day. This is Ricci and he and charles played all day together. I love that he is so outgoing...
Kyah and Henry were nye inseprable at the lake. there was a blow up tube that was probably 10 feet across that someone brought up, they didn't mind the kids playing on it and so Henry and Kyah spent the entire day on it. Of course Kyah got sunburned even though Iapplied sun block 3 times . She is already tan this morning though... go figure she has Aarons skin.
Chelsea loved the feel of the sand between her fingers, I am suprised that she didn't ask me to bury her in it. She didn't spend as much time in the water as the other two because she got cold easy and she was afraid that she would drown( even with the life jacket on)

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
