Lagoon:

Every year my Work takes their employees to Lagoon. Aaron and I have been looking forward to taking the kids for months. Unfortunately Lagoon Day and Aaron's trip to Nevada fell under the same time frame. We found out a few weeks after the nevada trip was planned so things couldn't be changed around. Katie and Joel were originally going to go with me as a one last hoorah beforethey moved but they had to move early because of the closing date on their house :( So I asked Aaron's brother and his wife Emily. And My sister Shannon and her family. We car pooled together. Shannon and Larry didn't tell their kids were they were going. It was funny because Sequoia rode with me in my car and she didn't realize that we were going into lagoon until we had parked and I asked her to hold the park passes for me while I took care of my purse( I wasn't gonna lug that thing all over Lagoon)
We went in the afternoon, not leaving Logan until after 1pm. i thought it would suck and that the lines would be long and tedious, but really it was nice. We didn't have to deal with the HOT morning/afternoon. When we got there it was scorching but we just headed straight for Rattlesnake rapids and cooled of Quick!

My work had bingo and a hamburger/hot dog picnic. I was not that yummy. Next year I think I will just bring my own dinner. But I am not going to complain because it was free. We stayed until 10:30 had many fun times, very few not so fun times and made LOTS of memories!!! Thanks all who came with me for making it a day to remember. It was hard for me not to have My Fam or Katie there with me so having so many there who love me was the perfect distraction!!!This is at the beginning of the afternoon... waiting to ride Rattlesnake Rapids

Do you LOVE the date stamp on all of these pictures? I took some pictures of Emily and Ira's house for them and wanted to Date stamp on so they could forward them to their landlord. And guess what I forgot to do??? Turn the date stamp off :)

For some crazy reason I didn't get any pictures of Larry. I think he was avoiding my camera on purpose... sorry all no picture of the decrepit old man :)

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
