MILLIONS OF PEACHES... Peaches for free ... millions of peaches ... peaches for me...



On Thursday one of my very close friends Jessica Trinkella and I got to hang out for the whole day. Somewhere during the day we decided that we should can the half-bushel of peaches that Aaron had previously bought. It was a lot of fun. Jessica is a lot more knowledgable in the whole canning area than I am :) . I did learn a lot though... Watch out canning world here I come!




These are the "fruits" of our labor (lol I kill myself) out of our half-bushel we got 10 quart jars of canned peaches. I LOVE being self sufficent!

Oh my! Look how self sufficient you're becoming! :) At least you know in times of peril you'll have the peaches and apricot jam to fall back on. :)

I love peaches. I am currently canning peaches also. It is always more fun to can with someone else. yum,yum :)

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
