Chelsea's first day of Kindergarten




She was so excited to get ready for school and get there that she didn't even stop to think that she might know anyone in her class ( beside her teacher of course!) I was pretty excited to find that our across the street neighbors little girl is in the same class and she and Chelsea get along wonderfully! This is Maddie and Chelsea on their first day... aren't they cute.
Since it was her first day and Aaron and I were home, we decided that a celebration lunch was in order. So we took her to her favorite ( well second favorite , golden corral being the first fav...) restaurant and told her she could have whatever kids meal that she wanted. She suprised us both by choosing Chicken nugget with tatertots. Do you see that plate . It was massive. there was no way that she was eating everything in one sitting... doggy bag here we come! She was nice and shared the leftovers with Charles and Kyah when they got home though!

That's awesome that Maddie and Chelsea are in the same class. I can't believe that Maddie is that much taller than Chelsea. What restaurant did you take her to?

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
