It's beginning to look a lot like spring...
the Second week of March was a BEAUTIFUL week! We got out and fed the ducks at First dam. It was so nice. WE went with Charles friend Connor and his mom Lisa. It was a fun afternoon. One of Kyah's classmates Anthony, was there with his grandmother. All of the kids had so much fun. It was a great reminder of all the wonderful things to come when the weather warms up.

There is a little dock right out on the water and Charles has always loved going out on it, HE was watching all the ducks swim around himUsually you can see the fishin the water as well but apparently today there aren't any :)

Connor is such a sweet boy, he tried to make sure that every duck that came near him got a piece of bread.Chelsea was just so darn excited to e able to wear her capri's that nothing was getting this girl down.She would tear a little bit of bread off and then see how many ducks flocked to the one piece

Kyah and Anthony would grab huger handfuls of bread(Anthony's grandma brought a huge garbage bag of stale bread)the would take the handfuls and them throw them out and watch the birds just flock! It was hilarious to watch them because they would run toward the birds to scare them away and then drop the bread and watch them scurry back to where they had just been chased away from :)

Charles and Chelsea both LOVED feeding the geese, they would wait for the ducks to go away and then toss all of their bread out for the geese to gobble.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. She is a ton of fun, You can always count on Kyah for a good laugh! 8. She is my oldest child. That alone is AWESOME !!! I am so grateful that I have her as my daughter! 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
