Happy birthday Charles... This is a monument year for you. you are turning eight. In our church that is a very special time. He has come to the age where he can be baptized. HE is SO excited to take that step (also a little nervous) No worries though, he will be all practiced in how not to drown and ready on May 1st. :)

Charles birthday fell on a Sunday this year so he got to be sung to on his birthday by the while primary. Aaron had to work(on nights) so we waited until Monday to celebrate. Charles was a lucky duck and won the Birthday Round-up on the radio so he has a free cake from Shauffers house bakery , a free hallmark gift, a free Casper's ice cream, And a free dinner from Papa Kelsey's( a local pizza joint)
Charles wanted to go to Papa Kelsey's for dinner and He picked a personal Cheese and Pineapple Pizza. That's my boy!
So this year the ways that I will show love to my sweet mister Charles is
1. I will take you on special time once a month just us.
2.I will make sure that you excel in scouts, helping you with whatever you need.
3.I will run and play soccer with you until your ready to stop.
4.read you the scriptures often, they are the doors to understanding and knowing our savior .
5.your Dad and I will take your feelings and opinions into consideration when it comes to decisions that affect you.
6.when it comes to fun and games, sign me up, I will keep playing games with you and your sisters
7.every time you need a friend I will be there, but I will also still be mom.
8.Life is too short to have stress, so I will help you relax whenever you need it.

I am so blessed to have you in my life.I am truly honored that your decided to come and be my son. I can't imagine what our family would be like without you! Happy EIGHTH birthday handsome!!!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
