Easter festivities...

The kids were so excited when they woke up on Easter and found that the Easter bunny had infact been to our house, For some reason they doubted that he would come. But sure enough, He left awesome goodies for all. the kids all got their own camera's that can attach to their belts or backpack( and ever since they have been picture taking crazy :) The Easter bunny brought a couple of fun candies but this year he really scaled it down so that we could be healthy. Thanks Easter Bunny!!!
Later in the day we went up to my sister Shannon's house and hid the Eleven dozen eggs that we dyed at the church just up the road. It was funt to see the kids pass over some of the "in plain view" eggs over and over again. I of course for got my camera so I will post pictures of the hunt later.then the kids hid 3 dozen eggs for the adults, that was fun! It took me back to the times when I would go hunt for the eggs that my" Easter Bunny" hid for me when I was young. Even now every time I go and visit, I request an old fashioned Egg hunt :) Its nostalgic

Murder Mystery in the Manor

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. She is a ton of fun, You can always count on Kyah for a good laugh! 8. She is my oldest child. That alone is AWESOME !!! I am so grateful that I have her as my daughter! 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
