Christmas decoration time~
I finally felt better on Monday and so for Family night on Nov 3oth we decorated for Christmas. Charles helped me bring in all of the totes from the garage. And then the decorating commenced. The very first thing we did was put the tree together. A few years ago Aaron and I broke down and bought a fake tree. Up in Logan it is all national forest and so you are not aloud to cut a Christmas tree. So we have been buying one since we got married. Well by the time Christmas day comes around the tree is so brittle that you are afraid to even turn on the lights for fear that it will spontaneously com bust. So the kids and I got all the tree pieces out and put them into the base "fluffing" each level as we went. it was hilarious to watch them. That was all we did with the tree though because I wanted to wait for Aaron to wake up to decorate it ( he was on nights). I think one of the funniest things about watching the kids decide where to put what Christmas decoration was ,the vein on their foreheads popping from concentration :)

After Aaron woke up We started to decorate the tree. I am always in charge of the lights. then the kids put the ornaments on( and this year I think they did a splendifferous job :) and then lastly Aaron always puts the angel on the top of the tree. It's tradition...

The tree was sitting in the middle of the living room so that we could get around it easily to decorate, but when that was done Aaron got underneath it to move it back against the front window. In the process of doing that he got himself stuck between the tree and the wall. It was rather hilarious! I had to get a picture of it. so the one that looks like a portion of the tree and curtain and a white kitchen garbage bag... Look really hard and I will bet that you find a stuck Aaron in there too. Even Paco was loving having the Christmas Decorations out. Can't you just see the excitement in his big brown eyes? I can too!
