My Birthday was nice. It was very low key for the most part . We went to Wendy's for lunch... It's not fast food its Wendy's. :) Then the afternoon was quiet until Aaron brought my present over from Katie's house ( the next door neighbor) It is AWESOME!!! it is a solar powered Mushroom light. I love it , thanks sweetie. Its wonderful. That's what I am holding in the last post. Isn't it cute?!
Aaron arranged for a babysitter all on his own and we went to The Olive Garden for dinner. Boy was that a ZOO! Not only did it happen to be my birthday(yeah!) but it was also U.S.U. graduation, and Prom for Cache Valley. So we were competing with 2 other main events. Of course it worked to our advantage in the end that there was only 4 in our party. We waited for about 20 minutes and were seated. It was a wonderful dinner. I got my usual. Chicken Fettachini Alfredo . Katie was talking with the waiter while he was taking our order and accidentally spilled her water all over Joel... Sorry Joel but I am STILL laughing about that one :)
When they brought the check , I thought I was safe from the dreaded song, You know the one. Luckily we were in a corner table and so not too many people were looking at us.Thankfully!
Dinner was DELISH!
Not to toot my one horn, but I am so blessed that I have a husband that is caring and thinks of me. He really did everything he could to make my day a memorable one. Thanks sweet heart.

Not very many people are lucky enough to get a homemade cake, but this year I got 2. After coming home from the restaurant Katie brought her gift over ( which I totally LOVE!!!!!!) and with it she brought this divine Chocolate Eclair Cake. When I bit into the cake it was like the scene in Ratatouille, you know the one I am talking about right, When Egor the food critic takes a bite of the specially made ratatouille and he is taken back to his childhood. Well My dad used to take us girls to work with him on Saturdays. He could do this because he owned his own business. Anyway, he used to take us out with him for the whole day and we would get lunch and most often an eclair while we were out. It is a very fond memory and I cherish the fact the this cake made me think of my dad! I love you dad , you truly are the kind of man I wanted my husband to be like, and I think I found one too :)
A little later Melissa and Kyle came over to celebrate with me too. ( I am so loved HEE ) And Melissa also made a divine dessert too. She made a Key lime Cheesecake. it was SOOOO tasty!
both Melissa's and Katie's presents were wonderful and personal. It makes me just want to scream and shout ;) Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday and in some way shred themselves with me on my day. You are all awesome and I am blessed to have you in my life!!!
