Let me give a little background...
About 8 years ago Aaron and I bought the cutest little house. Nestled in site of the Beautiful Logan Temple. We moved in and made it our home , Decorating and adding that extra "COLTRIN" spice. In our quaint living room there was a bay window that stood 7 feet high and there were 4 windows in all. It was wonderful. The only bad thing was that those 4 windows let in enough cold air to keep ice cream frozen on a hot summer day! ( and visa-a-Visa on a hot day). My wonderful seamstress Mother-in-law made these awesome curtains that helped so much . We saw a difference in our heating bill after just the first month.
When we moved out of our little home, I took the curtains with us because I couldn't bare to leave them. Even though I knew that our new home didn't have any windows even remotely close to 7 feet tall.
So now that the background has been set.....
In storage the curtains sat for 4 long and lonely years. Just waiting for their chance to make a difference ... to be given a chance to shine and be useful once again... That time has come. Aaron and I have been disgusted with our VERTICAL BLINDS for so long I can't even remember . Well we finally asked our landlord if we could replace them with curtains and she was all for it. Apparently she HATES the blinds almost as much as we do.
At first I was going to make curtains from some fabric and lining that I acquired while we were in Nevada for Aaron's sister Heather's Wedding reception, but when I found these curtains I was like OH YEAH, OH YEAH, ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I will still be using the fabric that I got , but for other windows in the house... So hopefully all the windows will be switched over to curtains in the next little while... wish me luck :)
