On my birthday Aaron and I were talking in the Kitchen when we heard Kyah in her room talking to someone. We weren't sure what was going on because Charles and Chelsea were outside in the back yard. As we came into view of her room, this is what we found. She had gotten out her tea set ( which she hasn't played with in MONTHS) and set up a teddy bear tea party. She made sure that each of her guests had a cup and plate, asked them if they wanted Tea of Kool-aid ( because Coffee is very bad for you. this is what she told her animals.) It was wonderful to see a new level of play for her. But more fun for me was to watch.
Kyah has always enjoyed pretend play, but she normally likes to have Charles or Chelsea in on the fun. This time however she was just enjoying being ewith her animals. I love Kyah so much and am constanly amazed at how wonderful she is and what great lengths she goes through to make sure that all of those around her are happy. It makes me proud as her mom to know that she cares about others feelings. I am very lucky.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
