We finally got to go camping with Katie and Joel ( without getting rained on) It was glorious!!!
For Joel's birthday we went up the canyon for the night and had the most mouthwatering sandwiches and AWESOME fire popped popcorn. Now that is a contraption that I would like to get from Camp chef. After we put the kids to bed in one half of the trailer. "THE ADULTS" played games at the table in our trailer. I LOVE having a trailer. The next morning we had Glorious Hostess mini donuts(It was the first time I have had a donut in over 2 months, and the last time too. Since I am sworn off donuts) with breakfast sausage and eggs. The morning was lazy and relaxing, playing games and then everyone but Aaron(he is not a fan of walking,so he stayed and took a nap)went for a nature walk. We saw a "shell Graveyard" Seriously there were tons of shells all along the trail. we walked about a mile and then turned around and walked back. It was a perfect morning walk. When we got back we played another game and the kids played in the other half of the trailer on the beds. I remeber playing in my uncle's RV for literally hours! Unfortunatly life has to resume at some point in time and so we had to pack up and come back to reality. For a brief moment in time we had a hiatous for all to be jealious of.

Way fun! We love camping, although because of our yard work this summer we were not able to go.:(

Trailer camping sounds like my kind of camping! Girls camp was enough to last me the rest of my life! hahaha

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
