Yesterday Aaron and i took the kids to the fair, Not so that we could all ride the rides( BECAUSE THEY WERE OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED!!!) but to walk around and see all the fun things for sale and to get a carnival Corn Dog. Aaron had heard that They were divine. After paying 3 dollars for one... the verdict is in... We are not impressed! The breading was really thick and I felt horrible after eating it! So we went and found the cotton candy stand. Is anyone surprised? You shouldn't be! :) We walked around all the different booths and we even went and saw Kyle at the Wells Fargo booth, the kids all spun their wheel and got prizes. Paco is most happy because one of the prizes was a Frisbee. On of the young men/young women organizations had a pony ride set up. all of our kids were totally excited about that. It was fun to watch them climb up into the saddles and get lead around the "circle" . The last time they rode horses was when Chelsea was like 2. We were at the American west heritage fall festival and the only thing i remember was that Chelsea SCREAMED the entire time that she was on the horse. She hated it. and every time she would see a horse after that she SCREAMED. So I was pleasantly surprised when she climbed up and didn't give one complaint. ( now I also realize that she is 4 years older and that she is no longer afraid of animals but still. Memories die hard sometimes.
