Last week we went to bear lake on Thursday. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!! I was able to get off work a few minutes early and met Katie at home where she had my kids dressed and ready to go to Bear Lake for a fun afternoon. Lizzie, Katie's sister came with us. She has never been to Bear lake and so it was a treat for her.( Except for the REALLY windy canyon that made her carsick on the way up, sorry Liz) When we got up there. We went to Garden City's beach. In previous years it used to be FREE. No more though. We had to pay 7 dollars to get onto the beach RIDICULOUS!!! It really was the perfect afternoon. We played in the water for a while and then came back to the beach for a healthy snack( herries and Trail mix, YUMMY!!!!!) and then went and played until about 5:00. All of us were STARVING and so , naturally we went to Merlin's( the best place to eat in bear lake) and had the best fried fatty food there is :) On the way home everyone but Katie and I fell asleep because they had played so hard. Well Katie and I played hard to but thankfully Katie didn't fall asleep or esle we would have all DIED ( thanks Katie.) It was a perfect summer day!!! The only thing that would have made it any better would have been if Aaron and Joel could have joined us. Maybe next time.

Sounds like so much fun! I would have joined you too! Gonna be in reno the next few weeks? I fly out tomorrow. STill haven't packed...oops!

We lvoe going to bear lake. It is always a lot of fun. I hear that there aren't any beaches that are free anymore! So sad!! :( But I am glad you guys had a great time!!!

It really was the PERFECT day! Let's make it a summer tradition, but maybe next year we can go a few times and camp,too. Love you!!!!!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
