Tree's Birthday and Lagoon
While Kim was here we went to Lagoon, it is where Sequoia wanted to go. It was a fun day too. 



Aaron is not a huge fan of Spiders but Kyah begged Aaron to ride the Spider with her. She was so happy that he said he would. 

While the kids waited to go on the Wold Mouse(which is a ride that I HATE) I snapped this. It think it is one of the best of them of the day.

I know what you are thinking... you don't have any toddler, why are you on the train? Well don't you see the kid right next to me. He begged and begged until i finally caved and said that I would go on the train with him. Look at that face. I could never say no to that face!

And of course Shannon had to bring her kiddo on the train too because that is all that he talked about on the way to Lagoon. More than once I heard him say" I can't wait to ride the Train... its the only thing I really want to do"


We opened presents for Tree while we were there and this little guy was so excited to take a picture with her that his eyes were "bugging" out :)

This is Kim, Tree's German friend. she is a really nice person and I was so glad that I got to know her. 

It seems that lagoon is becoming a yearly tradition. It is fun to see that the kids have so much fun.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. She is a ton of fun, You can always count on Kyah for a good laugh! 8. She is my oldest child. That alone is AWESOME !!! I am so grateful that I have her as my daughter! 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
