My Niece Sierra turned 11 this past February. she only ever told me that she wanted a Dolphin Pillow pet. She loves Dolphins to begin with, In the same way that I love mushrooms9 its pretty awesome.) So of course I got her a pillow pet. I am so glad that she loves it.


When we celebrated her birthday the girls put on a dance show. Sierra Kyah, and Chelsea all dressed up on dance costumes from Sierras past and present years and each struck a pose for us.

As you can see Sierra is giving us ATTITUDE :0 in a good way though. Her friend Sydney was the announcer for the event :)

I was in charge for when Sierra blew out the candles, and I thought I did a great job, if I do say so myself...
I am so grateful that my sister and her family live close to me. It is wonderful to be able to be with one of my best friends ( and for those of you who know our history- its been a rocky road to where we are now) I love having Shannon around and to see my Nieces and Nephews grow and become little adults is so awesome.HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIERRA!!!!!!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
