Happy St. Patrick's Day...
On St. Patrick's Day I thought all day at work what kind of fun dinner I could make for the kids. there is the traditional Green Ham and Eggs( thank you Dr. Suess for that on) or theres Green Pancakes. I wasn't feeling the whole breakfast for dinner thing. And Aaron is not a huge fan of Pancakes in the first place Either.
Then a light bulb came on... Green Shepard's Pie. So I made everything normal. Them when I whipped the Mashed potatoes, I added Blue and Yellow food coloring, because I didn"t have Green. Ten in the Cheese that I put on top I also added the food coloring :
The Kids were so Excited to have such a green dinner( I wonder what they would think if the green color had been from Mold???)
To go along with the Shepard's Pie I made "green" Devilled Eggs. we really enjoyed having such a yummy dinner and a fun St. Patrick's Day!
