Sledding~

My family Arrived from Arizona on Dec 22nd. My nephew Samuel was so EXCITED to be where there is snow. We got the kids together in the early afternoon and headed up to the park by Shannon's house for some sledding fun. Aaron was working on nights so he stayed at home in bed. And My dad stayed at home with my Grandma. Shannon brought her dog Max for a little bit but he was so cold that he was Shaking uncontrollably. It was a very fun afternoon. I went down once and then shot pictures the rest of the time. Here is the results :)

Kyah in all her glory on the air mattress. It started out slow but after that is was awesome :)
Sierra( my niece) she is such a cutie, this was taken before her ear started to hurt... She had 2 major ear infections :(
Brad( my BIL) I love his sense of humor!
most of the kids piled onto the matress for a ride.... sadly after that it popped
Charles and Smauel( my nephew) had so much fun together. They were inseperable!
Kalinda ( my sister and Joseph ( my nephew) enjoying the snow. Joseph wasn't to sure that he wanted to sled when we first got there so he took Grandma Lynn over to the toys instead.

Man, that looks like fun! Our snow was way to wet to sled. You sat on the sled and sank in all the way. No fun.
I remember when Sequoia was BORN! Unbelievable!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
