On march 27th Monsters vs. Aliens came to movie theaters. we were down in Nevada visiting family. It seemed like a fun thing to take the kids to. ( they have pretty much been talking about it non-stop since the Super Bowl) Unfortunately Charles was not able to join his sisters at the movie because he was in trouble, And I really hope that he learned his lesson because that was so hard to leave him at home with his Aunt and go without him!!! ( sometimes being a parent SUCKS) The movie was in 3-D so we all got these hilarious looking glasses. My sister -in-law Michelle , my niece Hannah, and my nephew Andrew came with us. We all laughed and had a good time.
After the movie we went to Micheal's to get some birthday presents and Hannah and Chelsea got FLARP( noise putty) Hannah's was blue and they played all afternoon ,pretending that it was one of the characters in the movie "BOB" . Right before dinner all of the kids came running down the hall from the bathroom saying that BOB went down the drain. Being a plumber's daughter I went back to the sink and took the pipe apart underneath to see if it was possible to get the FLARP back. As luck would have it. the stuff was so slick that it just went right past the trap.
Hannah was so sad she cried and cried. After about 20 minutes the kids had come to the conclusion that they needed to have a funeral for BOB. It was HILARIOUS!!!! All in all , it was one of those times when you just sit back and laugh. Kids say the Darnest things.

We are going tomorrow to see Monsters vs Aliens. My boys are so excited. Matt and I were just talking about making a plan for the "Anniversary" coming up. Can you believe TWO YEARS. I will email you and we can make a plan.

What a fun time. I am sometimes uncertain about my willpower when disciplining my children. Kudos for follow-through! Sounds like it was a fun time.

Sounds so fun! We want to see that. I took McKayla to see the new Hannah Montana movie. It was a lot of fun. I agree that sometimes being a parent is so hard!!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
