FAMILY NIGHT

So during one of those times when we think of a spontaneous tangent, We went to Orem to go PUPPY looking. Melissa and Kyle had finally reached a compromise about Kyle getting a dog. We got to go along for the ride :) Of course my kids all fell in love with the puppies. ( the mom had like 12 of them... Crazy I know) On the way home we tried to go to The Mayan to eat but the wait was like 45 minutes and , just in case you all don't know Aaron has this dormant gene that only awakens 3 times a day when he neds to eat. Until he gets food he is the most awnry person I know. So anyway we ended up at The Training Table. Chalres ordered our meal for us ... He felt so big... but when Aaron went to pay the bill, Oh MY... Everyone knew how unhappy he was... Typical Aaron reaction... Its all good. In the end we had an AWESOME time! I am glad that we went. THank you Scott and Tasha for letting us borrow your mini-van!

It sounds like you had a fun time in Orem! I'm so happy for Kyle. A puppy is fun...but not fun at the same time. Jack was doing really well for a while and then last week happened and now I think I have to retrain him. What a mess! He doesn't just go in one area, he walks while he goes...Anyway, I'm okay now. I just have to recover from my stressful week. I'm feeling better than I used to. Love ya!

Yes, it was a fun time looking at the puppy. Living with the puppy - not so much. But I'm learning to love her! By the way - I love the new header - when the lilacs bloom (yes, tell Aaron that's what they are) I'm excited to see the current picture. :)

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
