Katie's Birthday

Katie Came to Utah for her Birthday!!!! 
I was so happy that Katie came to Utah for her birthday, Her mom Flew her out here for some Quality Mom and Daughter time. She also was kind enough to give me a whole DAY with her too! I think I slept maybe 2 hours the night before because I was SO excited!!!
When I git there I got the biggest KT bear Hug EVER! It was so wonderful! I miss those hugs! We laughed and talked while Everyone got ready for the day and then went to Breakfast at the most DELISH Mom and Pop Restaurant but I can't remember the name of it,I guess that is what I get for being like 7 months behind on Blogging huh?!

KT and Anne with an awesome birthday poster ( think I might have to remember this for my kids when they get older and I want to do something fun for them!

Pistol and KT , We are the sisters from another mother! Look at the two of us crazy's!  Man I can't believe that we have to live so far apart. Our day was just like a normal day in the life of KT and Crystal. Laughing talking going to thrift stores and book stores, and of course playing games! Cherice was able to come and be with us too which made the day complete. It was great to see her too and get to catch up with her.


While we were playing games we needed bandanas( for reasons that shal remain nameless) and Anne wore hers the most, KT taught me this really cool game with marbles, cards and a board. I again can't remember the name of it because i waited too long to Blog( if you know leave it in my comments so I can be enlightened )

This is me trying to understand the awesomeness of the game, I think by the end I picked it up. It was WAY FUN. I remember that
While we were out we went to Costco, Cherice walked through an Art Exihibit of Greg Olsen and she picked up this gallery piece, it is one of 250, what a beautiful reminder of Christ unconditional  love.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
