The World through Kyah's Eyes

One of Kyah's presents was a Camera. She LOVES to take pictures of anything and everything that interests her. It works out great for me because it gives me a different prospective when looking at the world. Enyoy a walk with me through the eyes of Kyah,


Self Portraits, I think are one of Kyahs favorite things to do,I find them all over through out her pictures.
What better to hold boredom at bay , than to play with the camera in the back seat of the truck. Oh yeah and don't forget to add the stuffed dog

Cute little Kaelin, I love this little firecracker! She makes me smile all day long! See that little smile, she is looking at you like "I know something you don't know..."



Kevin is one of our favorite friends. His smile and quiet manner is so wonderful. I am so glad that Kyah got this picture of him,,, it just captures his personality!

During Sequoias Christmas concerto there were different solos, Can anyone guess why Kyah chose to take a picture of this one???? :)

Kyahs BFF Jaden moved to Arizona in April, but in the last month that she was here Kyah and she spent just about every waking moment together, between the two of them I think they probabaly took about a hundred pictures of eachother...
Chelsea;s Hampster is a frewuent guest in Kyah;s pictures, as is Jaden. What a pair theymake :)

I love this dang dog. He is dumber than a doorknob and barks at his own shadow, but he is my baby boy thats for sure. I love his eyes and his perfect square head.

Grandma Marti gave the kids each a picture of our hometown temple. We all love the temple. it is a beautiful sight to see, The way we know we are home is by coming into our little valley and seeing the temple. ( Kyah asks me almost everytime we go home to go "the temple way" It makes me a little bit happy inside( okay a alot happy inside)
My handsome little man. This little person just melts my heart! he makes me laugh and reminds me how great it is to be a mom and how great it is to have a boy. I am glad that my girls will have a brother to be there for them!

Chelsea has the weirdest faces, but they are all my little bell. its amazing to me that Kyah has such an eye as to capture her siblings in their true personality! Good Job Kyah!!!



Kyah said " Hey Mom, I remember that when I took this picture I was being sneaky" And she smiled at me with a mischevious grin.

Holy Crap I love this picture, these little girls are some of my favorite people ! Their parents are pretty awesome too! CAn;t wit to meet their little sister Hailee!!!

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. The game company that I got this mystery night from was not as well thought out as How to Host a Murders for sure! The books were inconsistent...

Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. She is a ton of fun, You can always count on Kyah for a good laugh! 8. She is my oldest child. That alone is AWESOME !!! I am so grateful that I have her as my daughter! 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
