IT"S A BOY
Meet the newest member of the Coltrin Household. This is Duke Coltrin Born on February 21,2011 We picked him up from a family in Magna. He is a pure bred Yellow Lab Just like Paco and Nala. We didn't tell the children because they were still so sad that Paco was gone. Meeting and taking Duke Home was the exact Therapy that the kids needed( not that Nala isn't a WONDERFUL dog but we all were missing Paco SO MUCH)
We made the mistake of allowing him to be on the couch when we first got him. A mistake that we are still breaking him of( thankfully it doesn't happen often though)
What a cute little guy we have... He has grown so much since this Picture. I am glad that we have him. He is by no means a replacement for Paco but he does things all the time that Paco used to do. Like the cock of his head when you talk to him or the way he circles before he lays down.
This is Dukes first experience with the water. He was not a huge fan. He liked it but he is so small that he got cold really fast. Emily and Ira brought their dogs out to play too and luckily Emily had a towel that we wrapped Duke in so that he could warm up.
He would stand at the dock and watch as Nala Remington and Drake all swan after the sticks and balls that we threw in the water for them. It was quite funny to watch!
If you can imagine a little puppy Barking his little heart out at these three dogs then you can imagine this little bundle of joy.
