Valentines day this year was somewhat bitter sweet for me. Aaron was in Nevada with his family and so I didn't get to spend it with him. It is probably the first time in 10 years that we have been apart for Valentines Day. That's not to say that Aaron hasn't had to work on some Valentines but, he has always been in the same state as me!
I was feeling kind of down and sad that Aaron was so far away. I woke up and made the kids an awesome breakfast gave them their little gifts( which aren't much just a little something-something to let them know they are loved) and then we went to Church. Unbeknownst to me Aaron and Katie had been plotting. Whille I was a t church Katie snuck home and put these beautiful flowers and this HUGE card( I am sorry there isn't a picture of it because it is HUGE!) on my kitchen counter. Aaron emailed katie and had everything arranged with her so that I would be sure to have something for Valentines day. I felt horrible, i had been wrapped up in my anger at the fact that Aaron wouldn't be with me on that day that I didn't even arrange to have anything for him in Nevada ( I am so sorry honey!!!!)
When I came home from church and saw the flowers i just started to cry. It had been such a stressful week without Aaron there. And it was just so nice to get that little reminder that he really does care and think about me. I have such a wonderful honey! I am so glad that I am his wife and that we were married in the temple for time and all eternity! The End.

What do you do when you want to spend quality time with some of the people in your village?  You plan Murder Mystery night of course!  I count Aaron and I very blessed and humbled that we have more village than what we played the game with that night, and I plan to host a couple more murder mysteries to enjoy all ofy village in the near future.  Tonight, we were set in a Manor. I was the wealthy Anthony Westgrove, that is dying of cancer and wanted to gather my family to say goodbye and to let them know I was turning the company over to my illegitimate son Richard, who was the only one that knew I planned to commit suicide after the gathering. We had a Lavish dinner planned of Flat Iron Steak, Marnie's Augrautin potatoes, Jenn's Rolls, Shannon Brock virgin Movktails and I topped it all off with Creme Brulee for dessert. Eight Already? Kyah turned 8 on January 5th. I am have the hardest time adjusting to this fact because I just can't be old enough to have an 8 year . Everyday She seems to grow and mature. I am grateful to have her as my oldest. Since she is Eight , here is a list of 8 things that I LOVE about her. 1. She has the Kindest heart, She truly and genuinely loves everyone she meets. 2.She is willing to help me with what ever task I am working on without complaint. 3.She is a good big sister. 4.She makes sure that everything is fair... or at least as fair as it can be. 5. She works very hard at her school work. Never giving up until its done. 6. Her testimony makes me so proud as a mother( as I am sure it makes Heavenly father proud too) 7. 2017- starts off with a bang

We had a New Years Eve  party with some of our close friends! We enjoyed a night of food, fun and entertainment. I wanted to do some minute to win it games to break up just the chit-chat and board games that we play so often when we get together. We played a game where we had to stack dice on a tongue depressor, and a really fun game where we had to carry potatoes between our legs across the room and drop them into a bucket. we got the adults and kids involved. It was such a fun night! As I prepare for the coming year, I hope that We have many, many more nights just like this one!!!
